FLV is open to all Kentucky families who have children with hearing loss, ages birth to high school seniors!
Come join in a day of excitement and learning with other families, where all modes of communication are welcome.
We'll have fun learning activities for children at each age level and special workshops and presentations for adults, as well.

Limited lodging is available to families living more than 2 hours away. These will be assigned to the first 6 families to request these facilities.

Kaleidoscope: Project Specially Designed Instruction – Cohort 3 Registration Open: Don’t miss your chance to join the third cohort of Kaleidoscope, a professional learning experience for K–12 Special Education teachers across Kentucky focused on strengthening Specially Designed Instruction (SDI). Through the Kaleidoscope Community of Practice (CoP), participants collaborate to build practical SDI tools, strategies, and confidence to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. Two flexible options are available: Option 1 – Summer Intensive (15 PD hours) with two in-person days in July and two virtual follow-ups in October and March, or Option 2 – School-Year Series (18 PD hours) with an in-person day in October, virtual sessions in November, January, and February, and a final in-person day in March. Complete all sessions to receive a classroom teacher kit. No registration fee. Registration closes April 30, 2026. Register Now. For questions, contact Rebecca Turner or Anne Simpson.
